Pioneer Business Angels Club is a duly registered association of experienced professionals, company executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. Club members are private investors who prefer to invest collectively in startup businesses and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with high growth potentials. Our members’ experience, verse knowledge and competence enable the club to invest favourably in different sectors of the economy.
Beyond Funding, the club provides managerial expertise to startup businesses, mentoring through volunteer mentors who are captains and various industry leaders. Club members also volunteer their time, contacts, individual experiences and often fund the entrepreneur’s trainings where necessary in order to ensure that the business succeeds.
Interested startup entrepreneurs can send their concise business proposals on our website or through the post, the proposals will be collated and evaluated by the club’s relevant committees, whose membership will be drawn from experienced members and Consultants from that specific sector of the economy. Where the business proposal is shortlisted, a pitch meeting will be organized and the Entrepreneur will be invited to do a formal presentation. PBA will provide necessary startup capital either as Equity or as Venture capital contributed by club members and may nominate members in the startup company’s Board depending on the agreement and business strategy.
As a non for profit organization registered under part C of CAMA, Pioneer Business angels Club promotes entrepreneurial skills, creativity, Venture capitalism and enterprise through club/corporate sponsored programs like Breakfast meetings, book publishing/publications, motivational talk Shows and other events as may be approved by the club from time to time.
The club through its members and related firms may provide professional and management services to their funded companies and general public.
